Search
Engine Optimisation:
The purpose of this is to ensure a website is found in search
engines for the required search terms.
Your web-site must be
registered with internet search engines. Most web searches are carried out on Google, Yahoo and MSN.
It is advantageous therefore, to be registered with these
search engines. After registering with them, your web-site
will be visited, catalogued and categorised, recording various
details and criteria which they use to list your web-site
in comparison with others, thereby getting your web-site a
'position ranking' which will allow it to perform for various search words and phrases.
Most search engines have automated devices (called
spiders or meta-crawlers) which will categorise your web-site
according to their own individual criteria, better known ones
are 'keywords' and 'description'. At Dome, we have identified
many other legitimate criteria which need to be optimised
for successful search engine page ranking.
We do not favour methods such as link farms, ghost sites,
hidden text or anything else which might fall foul of search-engine
policies and incur penalties on your website.
Our work includes identification and prioritisation of search
terms, ensuring they appear correctly on the website and then to
consolidate this with the establishment of the correct link
strategy for your website.
We are happy to optimise existing web-sites whether originally
created by Dome or not. Please contact us to discuss this.
